Changing Focus is a nonprofit, nonreligious organization that has been open to all persons, regardless of race, creed, gender, or religious affiliation, for 25 years, and offers the following educational and support programs to its members:
·Single Again is for people who are going through separation and divorce.
·Healing Journey provides support to those who have lost a spouse through death.
·MOHR (Moving onto Healthy Relating) teaches adults to develop and maintain healthy relationships.
Meeting topics are diverse and range from such subjects as coping with the loss and grief of divorce or death to breaking the patterns of dysfunctional behavior or improving communication skills. Meeting topics are presented for 30 minutes by a professional, clinical psychologist. Single Again and Healing Journey also offer the services of trained facilitators at their weekly meetings. Members of all three groups are invited to join social activities in a non-dating environment.
